"the Clown"

This is actually one of my many small oil pastels I do every day. I have around a dozen of these particular books i like to use for the small yet somewhat unexpected peices...which have now grown into a rather large stack of books in the corner of my kitchen...They are all made with rice paper. I love the consistency the books' paper. You can usually get them at Tibetin stores. The edges are deckled, and though they cannot take too much, I like the rough, but rather "delicate" texture.... I also cannot deny my love of "conceptual" peices-Much like a writer, or musician. There is a continuity, and the pages of creativity are experimental and most definity- "without rules"...
There also is just being able to take it (if I am in a pastel/drawing mood)wherever I go and keep on creating.
