"the arbitrator"

This is acrylic on canvas: 24"x.75"x30"-I have a few more on the way that are even bigger. After I was through with the acrylic, i used charcoal, and then some of my pastel pencils to fill in the lines, and add some lines,etc This, of course, required the use of a fixative , so the charcoal wouln't smear. The final step was adding a protective gloss varnish.

'the Watch Tower"

This is a painting that was uploaded recently, I called the it "the Lighthouse." Then, after looking at it a bit, I decided to add more dimension and color. Oh, and change the name...
Who knows, perhaps I will add a little more, before "the Watch Tower" is finished
...back to painting, painting, painting. And then more...

"Part I"

This is "Part I" of a two piece painting...I shall be back with "Part II' very soon...
Friday;
March 16th ...This is the work in progress, that became the painting, "Spring Dragon,"--above.
I was going to delete it from the blog, but then, upon seeing it's metamorphosis from "the early stage" to the finished piece, it seemed worth saving.
Comments, anyone?
