The Unknow IV

Somehow, I did not upload this painting which is part of the series I have mentioned in my blog. Probably just as well, as I kept adding a little bit there, and as little more here.
Anyway, chronologically this is the fourth in the series.
Sticking true to the conceptual style, it is acrylics on 18"x24" heavy paper, with a half inch white border around the entire piece. Finished with two coats of a UV protective gloss varnish. COA from EBSQ.
Each painting has its own unique version, but the tones -warm, rustic, earthy, as well as both linear and soft imagery are the ties that bind these pieces securely together , as well as an emotional component which began the process of "the series" to begin with. Perhaps more on that later....
But for now, I have another painting in my studio, in need of attention.
Any one moved to comment or ask a question, feel free.

  1. Julianne, this series is really wonderful. I love the tension created with the lines, both straight and curved, which are all brought together with the color. The hues remind me of rich polished woods!

    Lovely Work!
