This is the painting that was, "the first painting of the year." Now completely re-done, with many layers and applications...I will have much more to add to the description of this piece in terms of the process as "distance always lends some perspective"- of which at this time I have very little...It is 24"x30" with 7/8" depth canvas. It is Back stapled and all four sides are painted. I am eager to return to my regular cycle of posting-of which I have been unusually estranged from.
However, this week is a busy one, and I will be writing with updates as the days continue.

Julianne, I think we have all had some issues getting to the extraneous tasks here at the beginning of the year. I know I have.
